I AM EMPLOYED!
I am also really scared for the amount of work I'm about to be taking on but WOOOOOO!
YAH BABY!
I went to the interview and I was so nervous at first, but then just said to myself: "This is a challenge - let's win this challenge." And after the interview, the ladies (my new bosses) said they'd get back to me before the weekend but then 6 hours later I get the call!
I stood out from all the other candidates she said and I start February 27th.
WOOoooOOO!
I'm scared because the job description is about a page and a half long, and I'm working 9-5pm Monday to Friday and I'm responsible for my own "projects" and "clients".
I see this as a challenge and I hope I exceed their expectations.
Just thought I'd give you all the update,
Love.
What is the job? what are some of your responsibilities?

Thanks Em!
ReplyDeleteTaylor, I am working with two other women to basically run the company. There are CAs (Chartered Accountants) that get certified by the ICAS through examination and then, if they pass, they become apart of the ICAS community. When you become a member, you're entitled to the most current information in the CA field and are provided information on the courses that our company offers and if desired may take courses to further their knowledge in their field. When they want any of the above services they call our office and will talk to one of us three ladies!
So basically I'm in part responsible for the maintaining of our clients and providing them with any information and all information they might need. Also I am responsible for the correspondence with new members - make sure once they have passed examination that they receive the welcome letter and a "welcome to the community" pack and then I follow up with each and every one of the CAs for their membership fees and any other outstanding fees they may have. I think there are about 20,000 CAs that the three of us are liable for.
Bored yet?
Also I'm responsible for data entry of all client information and I have to make sure that all the information that we have on each of our clients is up to date.
I'm really looking forward to being so vital to the company's functioning but then I'm wary of the amount of stress it'll bring.
Woooo!
